Giving Your Hair Some Oomph!

Hey Guys!

Today I have a few hair products I would like to share with you.

So my hair after I wash it just poker straight and quite thin. So I use these three amazing products daily to give my hair that bit of oomph it needs!

So after I come out of the bath/ shower I towel dry my hair and leave it in the towel for about 10 minutes whilst I'm doing my face routine. Then I use L'Oreal's Hot Curl Thermal curling spray. I spray this all over my hair then tilt my head upside down to blow dry it. I do this because by drying your hair upside down it already makes your hair feel a lot thicker and bigger. Also whilst drying my hair at the same time i scrunch pieces of hair for the curling spray to work. This enable my hair to naturally curl slightly.

After that I then use my L'Oreal Matt and Messy Salt Spray and apply that mostly to the ends then scrunch. This gives my hair that tousled beach look.

Finally I use my VO5's Give Me Texture powder and apply a small amount to the roots of my hair to give my hair more volume and texture. Then I am done! What I would recommend though if you are having a bath/ shower in the night is to just use the curling spray with the hair dryer then the next morning apply the other two products.

Hope This was a helpful little tutorial for you!

MUA Purchases.

Hey Guys so I recently purchased some new MUA goodies and thought I'd tell you how I feel about the product and whether they're worth a purchase.

So the first product I am going to talk about is 'The Artiste Collection. This comes free if you spend £6 on any MUA products in Superdrug. So already a massive bargain! I don't use many of the colours in this palette because I prefer a natural eye so I stick to browns, light pinks and golds. I love the multi-use of this product, and the selection you have. My favourite product to use out of this palette is 'Shimmer Kiss' which is on the end of the palette, and it's basically a highlighter.

Moving on to the 'Undressed Palette'. This palette was more for me because of the neutral tones. I already had the 'Heaven & Earth Palette' but really liked the different colours in this one; such as the pinks and dark blue/black. I love this palette and the pigmentation is great. I'd recommend this if you are already a fan of the 'Heaven & Earth Palette'. I find their are more matte colours as well as shimmer colours in this palette compared to the 'Heaven & Earth Palette.

Finally I purchased this lip gloss and I'm pleased with the colour but not the burning sensation. It's called 'Out There' and the colour's called Sienna. This lip gloss is supposed to be a plumping lip gloss  so I understand there should be some sort of tingling sensation but instead it burns on my lips. The burning sensation isn't one i can withstand either so a thumbs down for this product!

Soap & Glory's Kick Ass Concealer.

Hey Guys.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been rather busy.

So Today I am reviewing the 'Kick Ass Concealer' by Soap & Glory. I've had this concealer since Christmas and I have used it almost everyday since. It is a three-piece camouflage kit, which basically means their are three products in this compact case. This product is £10 which I think is a reasonable price for three products inside.

So when you first open this product the first thing you see is the translucent finishing powder that you dab over your face after applying your full base. It comes with a compact powder puff which makes everything a lot easier rather than having to carry a full sized powder brush/ powder puff with you. So when you lift the powder up just underneath is the two concealers and a mirror. The yellow toned concealer is the under-eye concealer. This really brightens your eyes and cancels out and blue/purple undertones that you may have. Then the pink toned concealer is the 'on the spot as-you-need-it concealer. This concealer does hide any sort of redness or dis-colouration in your skin but isn't so great covering major blemishes. With this said I still tend to use this concealer for redness but always turn to my lasting perfection concealer by Collection 2000. Overall I think this product is definitely worth a purchase because it's just so easy to carry around and actually works.
