My week in pictures!

School.
Figured out how to do a bun.
Bought new nail varnish.
Hung out with Nathan.
Bought Dr. Martens.
Enjoyed a well deserved Starbucks after shopping.

Dr. Martens!

I finally got them! I've wanted Dr. Martens for ages and i now own them. They are in size 4 (true to size) and they are smooth cherry red. I absolutely adore them, they will go with anything. They were £85 from a little shop in an arcade. There will be a blog post up soon on how to style Dr. Martens.

Here are some pictures I took of them.

Collection 2000 nail varnish.

Hey guys!

I've currently been loving the collection 2000 nail varnish's. The colours are so bright, and you only need one coat. I am absolutely terrible for chipping my nails a day after I've painted them and it's so frustrating! but this nail varnish doesn't chip easily which is fab for me. I use the natural collection crystal clear nail varnish as a base coat then this over the top. This nail varnish is very easy to get off and doesn't stain your nails or the skin around. This varnish is called fruit salad and it's from the hot fast dry collection.
Here is another colour by the same collection. This one is called ninja, and as you can tell it's a very bright green. I love this colour!

Bye!

L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara.

Hey Guys!

Just a quick review for you...

I've tried so many mascara's in my time and i never find one that makes my eyelashes appear thick and long. I bought a waterproof No7 mascara but it was a pain to get off and I think it's been dis-continued. So I had to try and find a new one. I've never tried a L'Oreal mascara before so i was excited to try the Telescopic one. It has a very thin brush which is perfect for coating each individual eyelash, and it's at a slight angle that makes it easier to apply in the inner corners of the eye. This mascara was around £9 I believe, which is good considering I paid £12 for my No7 one. I purchased this from boots but it should be in any good retailer. I really enjoy using this and will definitely carry on purchasing it.

Black Velvet Monki Skirt.

Hey guys!

My skirt I've been wanting for ages has actually arrived! I'm so happy with it, it's so pretty. This skirt is a simple black velvet skirt so it goes with everything and is perfect for the autumn/winter look. I got this in a small and it fits perfectly. It's elasticated around the waste which sucks you in (thank God). It comes just above the knee but you can pull it slightly higher or lower it.

I've wanted to purchase something from Monki for ages but i just haven't had the money. Luckily for me it was my birthday on Monday so i bought it and i love it!

I'll definitely be purchasing more from Monki in the future.

Soap & Glory Flake Away.

Hey Guys!

So the cold weather is here, and we need to make sure we don't have dry, flaky skin! I have recently purchase the Soap & Glory Flake Away body polish, which is basically an exfoliant. This is amazing! It smells delicious and really get's rid of any dry, flaking skin. It leaves you smelling divine and your skin fells so so soft. This exfoliant is packed with sugar and peach seeds so you can imagine how nice it smells.

All you have to do is apply it to damp skin and massage in a circular motion until most of the grains/seeds are gone, then simple rinse off and add a moisturiser after finishing your bath/shower. It's that simple!

I absolutely love this product and will continue to purchase it!

Hope I've helped...

Burt's Bees lip balm.

Hey guys!

I'm treating you this week with all these reviews!

So I've wanted Burt's Bees lip balm for ages now and i never got around to purchasing one. I had heard so many positive things about it so i had to get it. I purchased the mango one because i absolutely adore fruity lip balms and mango is my favourite scent. I'm really glad i purchased this because i take this everywhere with me, and it is amazing for the cold weather. My lips don't really chap but i like to make sure i'm still protecting my lips from the harsh weather. This lip balm has to be my favourite. I even find it better than Carmex. This is just because i'm not to keen on the smell of Carmex and it has quite a thick consistency. With Burt's Bee's it's small enough but lasts ages and smells great. So an all round great product.
I hgihly recommend this, and even if you don't like mango they have a wide variety of other flavours and even tinted lip balm's to give your lips a bit of colour.

Hope I helped.

Soap & Glory Hand Food.

Hey Guys!

So it was my birthday yesterday, yay! And i was spoiled rotten!

I had loads of Soap & Glory stuff just because I've been going on about it to everyone. I'm yet to try all of the products but so far I've been using the Hand Food (hand moisturizer). This cute little tube is small enough to take anywhere, which is great! It does have a fragrance so if you do have very sensitive skin be careful with it, but i have eczema on my hands and it doesn't irritate it at all. It doesn't leave a greasy texture on your hands, and your hands feel soft for ages. You only need to use a pea sized amount so this will last you ages. Sorry for the small review but it's a simple product and i think it's amazing.

Hope I've helped!

Beauty UK - No.7 In The Buff Lipstick.

Hey Guys!

Yet another review for you today! I've recently been purchasing lipsticks from Beauty UK because their lipstick's are long lasting and come in either 'matte' or 'moist' textures. These lipstick's have been formulated with a fresh minty taste, and the moist textured lipstick's do not make your lips dry at all, and gives you a long lasting colour with a glossy shine. This lipstick is called 'in the buff'. It's a lovely pink colour that isn't very bright so is wearable for work or school.

I also have the purple matte lipstick from Beauty UK called 'snob'. The matte lipstick's are also long lasting but i would recommend using a lip balm with it because it can dry up your lips.

I love this colour so much and I will definitely be purchasing some more lipstick's from the Beauty UK range in the future. All lipsticks are £3.49.

MUA Heaven and Earth Palette.

Hey guys! Sorry there hasn't been a new blog post recently. I've started back 6th Form so my weeks been a bit all over the shop.

Today I'm going to be talking about the MUA Heaven and Earth palette. This palette cost me £4 from Superdrug, and it's basically a cheap version of Urban Decay's Naked Palette. I really wanted to purchase the Naked Palette for a while but I think £36 is a ridiculous price for eye shadows. So I was looking around trying to find something similar and something that is highly pigmented.

A few day's ago I was reading TheBlackPearl's blog, and she compared the Naked Palette to the MUA palette. So I thought I'd give it a try, and I find this amazing! I love it so much. Each eye shadow has a slight shimmer to it so your eyes don't look dull, and £4 is an absolute bargain, so i would highly recommend this to everyone that likes using natural colours.

Hope I've helped!

Freederm Face Wash.

I used to have terrible skin, it was dry and spot prone. My skin started putting me down and I didn't feel confident without make-up. A few months back I purchased Freederm's Exfoliating Daily Wash and the Sensitive Facial Wash. I used the sensitive facial wash morning and night then the exfoliating wash about twice a week. My spots were beginning to clear up and my face felt so soft but i still wasn't 100% satisfied with the results. So I decided to change my regime, I now use the sensitive daily wash in the morning and the exfoliating daily was in the evenings and this is definitely working.

With all this said my skin is still slightly spot prone but they are clearing fast. In the night i still use my simple anti-blemish moisturiser and my skin feels amazing. I would recommend not changing from one product to a different one every month or so due to your face not being able to adjust so quickly to a rapid change. So all my products are Freederm and Simple, and these products compliment each other so well.

Also as a side note these products are perfect for any skin type.

Hope I've helped you guys!
