Non Beauty Favourites.

Hey Guys!

So a very different post today. I thought I'd do a Non- Beauty related favourites post today!

So If you didn't already know I am a huge Horror fan and lovely anything scary or creepy. So I've been loving The Possession. This movie isn't so much as jumpy but more creepy and thought provoking especially when it says it's based on a true story. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes movies such as 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' or the classic 'Exorcist'.

Next is Supernatural! I absolutely love this program! My friend recommended this program to me because he knew I like anything paranormal. Sam and Dean are just absolute babes and make this program amazing. I'm only on the fourth season which is great for me because I know I have plenty more to watch. Even if you aren't a paranormal fan I'd still recommend this because they are just so funny.

So nearly everyone has heard the sad news that My Chemical Romance has split up so I've been listening to all of their old songs just to make me feel better. Their old albums are the best and my favourite has to be 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge'. This album really takes us back to their roots and when they had their 'Emo' era.

Also this month I have been listening to a lot of Nirvana. My favourite song lately has to be Lithium. Also I have been listening to a lot of Kiss. All of their songs are great so I haven't really got a favourite. Also I've been loving the song 'Carry On Wayward  Sons' by Kansas because it's in every Supernatural season finale episode.

My favourite youtubers this month are PewDiePie, CutiePieMarzia, Grav3yardgirl and Blogilates.

March Beauty Favourites.

Hey guys!

Here's my March beauty favourites for you.

Lately I've been using a lot of Liz Earle products and they have been working wonders for my skin, so this month I've been using the Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint with SPF 15. This is a lovely tinted moisturiser that gives you a light coverage and evens out your skin. All the Liz Earle products are made from natural ingredients so won't aggravate your skin.

The next product is L'Oreal's True Match Powder in the colour rose ivory. This powder blends so well into the skin and keeps your makeup on all day. This powder is slightly darker than my skin tone but I wanted the powder to be darker to give me a slight glow ready for the summer. This powder doesn't feel cakey on your skin and is small enough to take with you in your bag.

Next is Benefit's Dandelion Blush. This blush gives you a lovely colour to your cheeks without being overdone. This blush matches my pale skin perfectly and looks completely natural.

For my eyes I've been loving the Eylure false lashes. These lashes look very natural and are wearable for everyday use. I've been using the Cheryl Eyelashes but have been wanting to try the Katy Perry lashes for a long time. These lashes are called Sweetie Pie. I've been using the Rimmel London's Accelerator Mascara also with grow lash complex. So far My lashes haven't really grown but they don't fall out as much as they used to with this mascara which is great!

Finally is my trust worthy Burt's Bees Mango Lip Balm. This lip balm is one of those products that you reach for everyday. My lips have been awful due to this terrible British weather and Burt's Bees have certainly been helping me!

Hope you enjoyed my favourites. Let me know in the comments if you've tried any of these products or which products would you recommend I try.

Spring Nail Tutorial!

Hey guys!

So I have another nail art tutorial for you today! Let me know if you like these tutorials in the comments below!

I started off by adding a light blue base coat. I applied two coats of this. I then took a coral pink and added large dots to the nails. Remember they aren't supposed to be perfect circles because they are going to be flowers. Then using a thin brush apply a bright red around the dots. Apply the red inside the dots also to represent rose petals. Then finally with the thin brush apply two green strokes in the corner of each flower which creates a leaf effect. Then finish off with applying a clear top coat to ensure it doesn't chip.

Finished!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!

Melting Nail Tutorial!

Hey guys so I've done something very different today!

I've decided to do a nail art tutorial for you guys. I love painting my nails and experimenting with nail art. So here's a tutorial for melting nails!

Nail Polish in this tutorial: Natural Collection - Crystal Clear / H&M - Beauty Bandit (purple) / Rimmel London - Sweet as Sugar (Light Blue).

I start off with painting Sweet as Sugar all over my nails as the base coat. I then apply a small amount of Beauty Bandit onto cotton wool and dip my cotton bud into the polish then apply it onto the tips of my nails to create a melting effect. You can also do this effect just with your brush. Just take your time!

After applying the melting effect on all of your nails give the polish time to dry then generously add Crystal clear all over to ensure the polish doesn't drag across the nails. Make sure to add the clear coat quickly due to the brush dragging the other products and ruining the nail art. Then simply wait for it all to dry then you are done! It's that simple!

Here is the final product! I hope this tutorial has helped!

Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Also I have a treat for my lovely readers! If you want to have 20% off Motel Rocks simply type in the voucher code 'chloescaresyou' at the checkout! Enjoy!

Prom 2013!

Hey Guys!

I had my 6th form prom last weekend so I thought I'd share a few picture with you and let you know what I'm wearing.

I did my hair and makeup myself.

I simply put my hair into a middle parting and curled it. I then twisted each side then twisted it into a bun and clipped it in place.

Beauty Favourites Of The Month!

Hey Guys! So here are my beauty favourites of the month!

I'm going to start off with my MUA Undressed palette. I have loved this palette ever since I first purchased it. I've used every colour and love them all! I've been using this lately to do a bronze smokey eye but will begin to use the softer colours for Spring. Overall a bargain palette that is a fantastic dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette.

Next is my first ever Mac lipstick! I bought this for Prom but have used it nearly everyday. It's called Modesty and is a perfect everyday colour that enhances your lips natural colour. This is a cremesheen lipstick so is very moisturising. I love this product and will certainly be using it for Spring and Summer.

So I've been in love with my Liz Earle tinted moisturiser but wanted something with a bit more coverage for weekends etc. I've heard a lot about the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum so I thought I'd give it a try. I have the lightest shade in the number 51 and it matches my skin perfectly. I love the gel based formula and the coverage. I'd day for me this is a medium to light coverage but it certainly evens out and redness and reduces the appearance of blemishes. I'd recommend applying a good moisturiser or primer before applying this product to insure that the product stays on all day. This hasn't given me any breakouts so far and smells lovely!

I'm now moving onto a perfume and it is my all time favourite scent! It's Daisy by Marc Jacobs and the packaging is just so adorable and the scent is amazing. I love this perfume it smells so fresh so can be used daily. I don't really want to run out of mine so I just use this perfume on occasions.

We're almost done!

Next is my already reviewed Sleek palette. I love the highlighter and contour colours but am starting to love the lovely pink/coral colour especially now that we are transitioning into Spring. It's an amazing dupe for Nars Orgasm blush but be warned it is very pigmented so only apply a small amount!

And finally is the Ecotools blush brush (try saying that when your drunk) This brush is fantastic for contouring and applying blush to the apples of your cheeks. This brush came in a set with another 4 brushes and a small travel bag and it came to £15.99 so I was pretty happy about that.

Hope you enjoyed!
